We had an awesome time in Asheville. Your place was very nice and close to everything. Once again thank you.

I had a wonderful stay at Rocking Porch. The house is near the end of the road so traffic is almost nill. The neighbor hood is nice very quiet. The interior of the house is very neat and spotless. I will definitely be returning in the coming years. Mike Caudill, Jacksonville, FL

Lisa, We all had a great time in and around Asheville. You have a great place there, we felt right at home. I especially liked how you had the "welcoming" folder laid out, referred to it often. And the location is perfect everywhere we went was easy to get to because of the access to the highways. Only thing was we did not spend enough time in the area. Next time we will stay longer and probably come earlier in the summer, boy was it hot. We will definitely be back, the kids did not want to leave. I will recommend your place to friends. Look forward to staying at your place again. Bryce

Hi Lisa, Here's the trip report. Day 1: We were at Linn Cove Viaduct ~noon on Saturday. Saw Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, then my parents continued to Mt. Mitchell, while my sister and I went to your place ~6:30p. We went to Ruby's on Beverly for take-out so food would be ready when my parents arrived ~9p. Day 2: We left ~10a for Tupelo Honey. Tried the pecan sweet potato pancake and andoille cucumber omelette with grits with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. Grits were the highlight. Place is fantastic. Entered Biltmore before noon, stayed there until 6:30p. Ate at Corner Kitchen right outside the entrance for dinner. My appetizer was shrimp and andoille sausage over [some rice-black-eyed-peas-salad-named-after-some-guy]. Main was corn fried local flounder, with green beans and cheddar grits. Dessert orange-raspberry soufflet. Super. Went back into Biltmore for sunset and walks. Home by 9:30p Day 3: We cleaned up and left your place ~11:30 for Early Girl Eatery. Had a blackened seafood caesar salad, with these fried grits croutons. My only small complaint here was: hot in there, need A/C. Left Asheville ~2p, stopped at Natural Bridge (tourist trap), and drove the Shenandoah Skyline Drive for sunset. Overall, we were blessed with incredible weather. Your place provided easy/close access to all we needed. Quiet, comfortable, with all needed amenities. Thanks.
