This was a great place to stay - I'd definitely stay there again! The condo was very nice and comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood where I felt completely safe. The location couldn't have been more convenient - just a very short distance from downtown and all the other things we had on our agenda. Lisa's tips on restaurants were right on, and she even left us her Ingle's (supermarket) discount card to use while we were there - nice touch! I'll recommend it to any of my friends who might be headed to Asheville.

Paula and Steve: February 5, 2008 - March 25, 2008 Walking into Rocking Porch took our breath away. It was perfect in every way. We couldnâ??t have asked for anything better. Lisaâ??s attention to detail was amazing. It went above and beyond necessity. It felt as if we were borrowing a best friendâ??s house who had prepared everything just for us. The kitchen was filled with every pot, pan, and appliance anyone could need. The linens were beautiful and plentiful. A TV. was in every room with a nice selection of videos to choose from. The games and books that are there were a really thoughtful addition. We loved how the house was decorated. It was charming and immaculate. The master bedroom was not only beautiful but the bed was so comfortable that I want to order the same mattress. I havenâ??t slept that well in years! The front porch with the cozy rockers was one of our favorite spots - even when it was a bit chilly out. The locale couldnâ??t have been better. Everything seemed just 5 or 10 minutes away. Shopping was so convenient. Down town and West Asheville were less than 10 minutes. Wherever we went, whether it was Black Mountain or Hot Springs, all we had to do was go down the road, make a right or a left and the major road took us there. It couldnâ??t have been easier. No need for a GPS! All roads seemed to lead to Rocking Porch! Lisa is a delight to get to know and to work with. We look forward to renting her beautiful home again!

Asheville and Rocking Porch were great. The house was even better than we expected... spacious, clean, and comfortable. The TV and wireless internet worked perfectly and we even made use of the games (Catch Phrase and Trivial Pursuit to be specific). We'll definitely plan on staying again the next time we're in Asheville.

We had a really nice time at Rocking Porch. The house is great and had everything we needed. We cooked in one night...and the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the necessary tools. The next day we had breaksfast at the Azalea Cafe. That is a really neat spot and close by. We had dinner at Mela, the Indian restaurant downtown. The food there was amazing. We really enjoyed the convenience of the house to town. Lisa thanks so much! We will definitely recommend Rocking Porch to our friends who are coming up later in the Fall. :)

Rocking Porch was great! We did use the iron and the new ironing board because we had 2 dress up functions to attend. Ollie enjoyed his walks to the end of the cul-de-sac and back. We appreciated your attention to detail with wine theme in the decor. My son-in-law especially like the books, particularly the one about holistic medicine. We were even able to catch the second half of the USF game on ESPN after the rehearsal dinner. On Sat. morning, we all took a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway to Craggy Gardens and did a little hike. The leaves aren't turning yet, but the cool weather was a welcome change. I hope we secured the trash well enough to keep the bears out. We all had our chores to do the morning we left and I think it was a breeze for the housekeeper. We will definitely recommend Rocking Porch to our friends and family. Thanks again. Vicki
